Parenting Plan

How do I get a parenting plan? Start here.

What's a parenting plan?

A Parenting Plan is a written record of an agreement about the future parenting arrangements for your children. It is signed by the parties but is not approved by or registered with a Court. The main difference between Consent Orders and a Parenting Plan is that a Parenting Plan is not legally enforceable as it is not considered or approved by a Court. Some of the benefits of Parenting Plans are that they are usually less costly than making an Application for Consent Orders and they can be reviewed and updated as the children grow and their needs change.
